The Montezuma County Public Health Department has announced a new positive case of COVID-19, bringing the total number of confirmed cases up to 17 as of 11 a.m. Saturday.
Of these cases, there have been two deaths.
Health officials continue to remind Montezuma County residents to practice social distancing, wear masks and thoroughly wash hands. The health department has also posted documents to help business owners interpret the state’s public health order as the phased reopening process begins. Guidelines have been compiled for retail businesses, personal services, office-based businesses, recreation, child care facilities, and real estate and field services.
