With the safety of its staff, program participants and community in mind, Crow Canyon Archaeological Center has closed its campus until further notice because of the coronavirus pandemic. Additionally, Crow Canyon’s spring and summer programs have been canceled in response to school closures in Colorado and other states.
Despite the campus closure, staff is working remotely and focusing on rapidly expanding Crow Canyon’s online learning opportunities to allow students of all ages access to archaeology.
Crow Canyon’s leadership continues to monitor the developing COVID-19 situation and all local, national and global public health guidelines to determine further impacts on the center’s program season including an extended campus closure.
