Tickets for the 8th annual AbraCadabra Sweetheart Ball will go on sale Jan. 7-25 at the Cortez Cultural Center, 25 N. Market Street.
The event takes place Feb. 1 at the Cortez Elks Lodge. Proceeds benefit the Cortez Cultural Center, and the gala event is a major fundraiser for the organization.
Donations are needed for the silent auction.
“I need your assistance,” says Lynn Gann, event coordinator. “Your tax deductible donation for our auction will help us raise revenues to support the ongoing expenses for the Cultural Center. We want to continue to provide quality programming and services to visitors from all over the world as well as the local community.”
Donations are needed by Jan. 15. Business donors will be listed on the program and have Thank You posters at the event.
The Center will be happy to pick up local donations — call (970) 565-1151.
The AbraCadabra Sweetheart Ball features a silent auction from 5-7 p.m., a steak or salmon dinner from 6-7p.m., and then entertainment by Mysto The Magi and dancing to the music of DJ***Hocus Pocus.
Cost is $45 per person or a table of 10 with logo for $450.
