After a successful 2013 season, multiple members of the Mancos Bluejays cross-country team have garnered All-Conference awards.
Leading the Bluejays' first team selections on the San Juan Basin League All-Conference team was senior Justin Burton, who ran to a fifteenth place finish in the Colorado 2A state meet.
Burton was also impressive during the regular season during which he won the Chicken Creek Invitational in Mancos.
Also named to the first-team all-conference team were Bluejays Emma Most, Hannah Skinner, Jessalyn Bay-Voit and Kristin Adams.
As a group, the girls helped lead the Bluejays' girls team to a ninth-place finish in the Colorado 2A State Championship.
In addition to the Bluejays' first team selections, Kia Baikie received an honorable mention for the All-Conference team.
Selection to the All-Conference team was awarded to the top seven San Juan Basin League finishers at the Regional Meet on Oct. 18.
Also garnering post-season recognition was Bluejays head coach Brady Archer, who, based on voting by coaches in the San Juan Basin League, was named San Juan Basin League Girls' Coach of the Year.
