Now that wintry weather has arrived, the town of Mancos reminds residents to follow appropriate snow procedures.
The sidewalks in front of your property and businesses should be cleared in order to prevent slip and fall dangers – although it is against the Mancos Town Code to push the snow into a town street or a roadway controlled by the Colorado Department of Transportation.
Additionally, CDOT has asked Grand Avenue residents not to park on the street when there is a heavy storm, so that snow removal can take place.
