Rescuers respond to rollover crash in Yellow Jacket
Incident occurred on U.S. 491 near Yellow Jacket

A Ford SUV traveling northbound on U.S. 491 went off the road and rolled into a ditch near Yellow Jacket during a snowstorm around 5 p.m. Friday. There were no serious injuries to the driver and a juvenile who was properly strapped in a car seat, according to the Colorado State Patrol. The case is under investigation, and weather is a suspected factor in the crash. Roads were snowpacked and icy. The Colorado State Patrol, Pleasant View Fire Department and Montezuma County Sheriff responded to the crash.
