Reed Larson enjoys the rapids on the Dolores River by Joe Rowell Park. Recent rainstorms have the river flowing over 600 cubic feet per second, about five times higher than the average for this time of the year. On Friday, Sept. 13, the river reached almost 1,400 cfs.
