The first "Science Friday" at the Mancos Public Library will be on Friday, Sept. 13, from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
The Durango Discovery Museum will give a presentation titled "We Didn't Start The Fire." Professor Goggleton and Assistant Professor Beaker use science to track notorious villain Flam-O McNaughtypants through his fire-themed crime spree. Free for grades K-8.
Science Fridays are sponsored by the Mancos Public Library, Empire Electric and the Durango Discovery Museum. For more information, call the library at 533-7600.
