La Plata County Sheriff’s Office deputies throw a sleeping bag filled with garbage into a dumpster Wednesday while assisting homeless campers moving out of an illegal camp just west of Durango. Homeless people are now allowed to camp on a 200-acre site near the Purple Cliffs, south of downtown Durango.
