Looking for a way to spend your free time this fall? The Medicine Horse Center needs volunteers for its therapeutic riding sessions at facilities in both Mancos and Durango.
A volunteer training will be held from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sept. 18 for anyone wishing to participate. Horse experience is welcome, but not necessary. Volunteers will be taught everything they need to know. New volunteers are always welcome.
