Sleuths go to work at historic Southwest Colorado cemeteries

Project documents burials, but there’s a catch: unmarked graves
An effort in Southwest Colorado to document each burial in three historic cemeteries will produce a database the public can use to find where family members are buried.
Aside from fieldwork, a project to identify each burial site across three historic cemeteries in Southwest Colorado has also searched church and family records.
Although the three historic cemeteries in Southwest Colorado are in ghost towns, the sites still are used every now and then for burials.
