I am so glad the kind pastor wrote this letter. It shows that fundamentalist Christianity is not a religion of peace, love, equality or compassion — that it requires you to check your brain and your heart at the door. It teaches you will all go to hell because God says you sinned but you can be saved because God impregnated a virgin with himself so he can die to make himself happy with his own blood. The God of “love” hates Muslims, Jews, atheists, Buddhists enough to send them to hell, but actually ... no, wait ... he does not hate them but is bound by his rules and has no choice. His hands are tied.
