Local teachers are invited to apply for a one-year exchange with educators in the Australian states for 2021. An information meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4, at Cortez Public Library, 202 North Park.
Educators from both public and private schools are eligible. Exchange offers new approaches to current issues in the classroom and educational community. This is an opportunity for professional development as an educator. State legislation authorizes and urges districts to effect exchanges.
Applications for the exchange year 2021 (Australia) must be postmarked by Dec. 4.
