George Geer Memorial Car Show brings out 80 unusual vehicles

Classic cars of all sorts take over Centennial Park
The annual George Geer Memorial Car Show took place Saturday at Centennial Park.
The show is hosted by the Blue Star Moms Southwest Chapter 2 of Colorado in honor of George Geer, a Montezuma County soldier who died in Iraq in 2005.
This year saw over 80 vehicles parked along the grass at Centennial Park. Proceeds benefit troops, veterans and their families.
Craig Schaff drove his 1942 Chevy power wagon down from Montrose. The previous owner had implemented a series of unique features.

Lyle Rice has made a hobby out of converting old farm equipment into vehicles.
