The Southwest Basin Roundtable is seeking persons interested in serving on the roundtable. Two positions currently are available.
One position will represent environmental interests. In addition to a resume, applicants for this position must supply a letter of support from a regional, statewide or nationally recognized environmental conservation organization that has operated in Colorado for at least five years. The second position is an at-large position with no specific affiliation. Applicants for this position should submit a letter with their qualifications.
Applications should be sent to Jane Maxson, 841 E. 2nd Ave., Durango, CO 81301, no later than Aug. 31.
Elections will be held Sept. 11 at the Dolores Water Conservancy District office in Cortez, where pplicants will have an opportunity to address the roundtable.
