The newly created Telluride Homecoming Festival is an all-community “big tent gathering” organized by Telluride Rotary. The main event will take place in the Town Park Oval on Saturday, July 20, from 5 to 9 p.m. Telluride Homecoming Festival welcomes anyone and everyone to come see old friends or to make new friends. KOTO’s DJs will provide a compilation of all genres of music from the 1940s to contemporary. Telluride Elks will be selling picnic-style food while Rotary will be selling beer, wine and mixed drinks throughout the evening. The festival spans the entire weekend, encouraging people to partake in activities such as tours and auctions.
VIPs planning on attending include; Gary Bennett, former mining engineer, as well as Johnnie Stevens and Senior Mahoney. Many local businesses will be offering discounts to participants.
