Royanne Lichliter, daughter of Allen and Cindy Lichliter, was nominated in the Denver Metro Area for the Florence Nightingale award by her director for “administrator in innovation.” She was selected as one of the finalists to move on to the state awards in her category out of hundreds of nominees. At the state level, she received a Luminary Award Medal along with 37 other nominees. Royanne is a bachelor-prepared nurse and has worked at Children’s Hospital Colorado for the last 9½ years. For nurses around the world, the Nightingale Luminary Awards is often referred to the “Academy Awards of Nursing.”
