A free legal clinic for parties who have no attorney, will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on the second Thursday of each month at the Mancos Public Library at 211 West First St. The next clinic is July 11. By computer link, volunteer attorneys will answer questions, help fill out forms, and explain the process and procedure for all areas of civil litigation, including family law, property law, probate law, collections, appeals, landlord-tenant law, small claims, and civil protection orders. Walk-ins are welcome, and everyone will be helped on a first-come, first-served basis.
Upcoming dates are July 11, Aug. 8, Sept. 12, Oct. 10, Nov. 14 and Dec. 12.
