Master puppeteer Markie Scholz, of Dragons Are Too Seldom Puppet Theater, will present her show “The Dragon Who Fell to Earth” at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Cortez Public Library, 202 N. Park St.
According to the story, the planet of Drago Minor is too crowded, and dragons must be sent to explore other options. A few brave dragons must be sent to find a new planet. Daisy Dragon is sent to Earth, but when her spaceship attempts to enter Earth’s atmosphere, it cracks into pieces. Daisy gets hit on the head, and she loses her memory.
This free performance is part of the library’s Summer Reading Program Family Entertainment Series and is sponsored by Golden Dreams under Onward!, a Legacy Foundation.
