An old-fashioned pie auction will be held on Tuesday, July 16, to raise funds for the hospital’s Relay for Life team.
County Commissioner Larry Don Suckla will be the auctioneer.
July 16 will be the day that hospital employee Jodi Harris will wear her dress, as she has committed to do if she raises $1,000 in donations. In her dress, Harris will be display the pies proudly.
The event will begin at 11 a.m. with hospital CEO Kent Helwig getting his head shaved if the Relay team raises $10,000 or more. The pie auction will begin at 11:30.
