Mancos State Park has a full slate of events this week. The programs are free. Entry to the park is $7 per car, $70 for an annual pass.
July 5:
10 a.m. and 1 p.m.: Learn all about butterflies, meet at the amphitheater.
4 p.m.: Try out your skills in the three-legged race, a hula hoop contest, and a game where you'll learn all about wildlife habitat. Meet at the amphitheater.
7 p.m.: Get some laughs from the Mancos State Park melodrama and jeopardy game.
July 6:
7:30 a.m.: Learn all about birds, and see them, too, with the park naturalist. Bring binoculars and meet at the picnic table near the entry gate.
11 a.m.: Learn all about insects and how to find them. Meet at the picnic table area.
4 p.m. Try out your skills in the three-legged race, a hula hoop contest, and a game where you'll learn all about wildlife habitat. Meet at the amphitheater.
