A free legal clinic for people who don’t have a lawyer will take place from 2 to 3 p.m. on July 9 at Mancos Public Library, 211 West First St.
Via computer link, volunteer attorneys will answer questions, help fill out forms, and explain the process and procedure for all areas of civil litigation, including family law, property law, probate law, collections, appeals, landlord-tenant law, small claims, and civil-protection orders.
Walk-ins are welcome. Everyone will be helped on a first-come, first-served basis. Additional legal clinics will be held Aug. 13, Sept. 10, Oct. 8, Nov. 12 and Dec. 10.
