Two brothers were suspected in a string of murders years ago, and new evidence shows they might be involved in a string of recent kidnappings. On Oct. 28, 29 and 31 from 8-10:30 p.m., those who dare to venture to the M-CHS auxiliary gym will be asked to help the FBI raid the brothers’ hideout with just a glowstick.
The production, a fundraiser for the drama department, is a project for the 10 students in the advanced theater class, instructor Nicholaus Sandner said.
“It’s great for them to experience theater that is interactive,” he said.
People entering “Darkness” will weave through different rooms in a maze, Sandner said. Each student in the class is the leader for one of the rooms in the maze. Since the theme is darkness, the haunted house won’t feature as many visual elements than in past years, Sandner said. People will still experience thrills through their other senses, though, he said.
The production is challenging for theater students, as they have to entertain people of all different ages who go through the maze, he said.
Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for students and seniors. Kids age 5 and under are free. The event also is a food drive, and visitors will get $1 off admission for every nonperishable food item they bring.
