Greater Dolores Action will host the 16th Annual Dolores Riverfest jam from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on June 1 at Joe Rowell Park, Colorado Highway 145/Railroad Avenue on the west end of Dolores.
Participants are encouraged to bring their family, sun shade and water bottles and set up a spot in Joe Rowell Park for the festival for all day music. Participants may also reserve a tent or RV spot in the park.
The festival will feature two stages, nine bands, local beer and foods, raft rides, camping, vendors and the Kids Discovery Zone. The event is pet-friendly, but pets must be on leash.
The festival also is looking for volunteers. Check out the website to learn how to get free entry, a T-shirt and a drink voucher in exchange for a three-hour shift.
Gates open at 10 a.m. Tickets are $25 at the gate or $20 if purchased in advance.
Vendor applications will be accepted until May 10.
