The M-CHS class of ’69 will hold its 50th Reunion from 3:30 p.m. Aug. 16 to 9 p.m. Aug. 17, beginning with a picnic at Parque de Vida Amphitheater, 123 Roger Smith Ave., followed by dinner at Destination Grill, 2121 E. Main St., and fireworks at the Elks Lodge, 2100 N. Dolores Road.
The catered picnic will begin at 3:30 p.m. Aug. 16, and will include hamburgers, hot dogs, and sides. Although some seating will be available, attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs. Donny Johnson will provide entertainment. Cost of the catered picnic is included in registration price.
The sit-down dinner at Destination Grill will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. Aug. 17. Dinner and cocktails will be available. All dinners are served with a dinner salad, garlic mashed potatoes, and a vegetable, with your choice of ice tea or lemonade. Vegetarian meals are available only by request. Dinner is included in the registration price and a cash bar will be available. After dinner, a fireworks display will take place at 9 p.m. at the Cortez Elks Lodge.
