The Colorado Native Plant Society will host a wildflower identification workshop from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. May 4 in Room 440 of Berndt Hall at Fort Lewis College.
“Introduction to Colorado Wildflowers Workshop” will help participants develop skills to identify different species found in the Durango area. The class will include how plants are named and identified, review basic plant structure and view the characteristics of 13 of the most common Colorado plant families.
