M-CHS boys hoops set to host 3-on-3 tournament

The Montezuma-Cortez High School boys basketball team will host a 3-on-3 basketball tournament at Montezuma-Cortez High School.

Games will take place every Tuesday and Thursday from 7-9 p.m. from April 23 until May 9.

Registration will take place at Montezuma-Cortez High School at 6:30 p.m. April 23.

The Strater Hotel, owned for decades by Rod Barker and his family, sold the hotel this week to Ross Garrett, who lives in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

The Galloping Goose Historical Society in Dolores works on restoring five rail cars that ran on area rialroad tracks.

Saturday night’s demolition derby drew about 1,600 fans to Fairgrounds Speedway.

Sports
