The celebration of Cortez Historic Preservation Day will kick off at 10:30 p.m. May 18, at Cortez Cultural Center, 25 North Market St. The event is sponsored by Cortez Retail Enhancement Association, Cortez Historic Preservation Board, Cortez Cultural Center, Montezuma Historical Society and Cortez Public Arts Advisory Committee.

3 p.m.: Montezuma Heritage Museum Plans and Progress
7 p.m.: HerStory presents “I Remember: A Local Pioneer Retrospective”
