The Life-Long Learning Lecture Series at Fort Lewis College will present “The Vietnam Era: What Happened and Why?” at 7 p.m. Thursday in Room 130 of Noble Hall.
Diné College professor emeritus James Mischke will discuss the war, how it affected our personal and national experience and how it continues to influence our country’s moral choices to engage in future wars.
Mischke is a retired psychotherapist and former field maintenance sergeant on B-52 bombers that were stationed at East Asian bases during the Vietnam War.
This event is free and open to all.
