Last year, a new physical therapy clinic came to town on North Park Street.
Doctors Michael Grajeda and Megan Flesch opened High Desert Physical Therapy in August as a private practice providing comprehensive care.
“Physical therapists help to improve a patient’s mobility and motion, provide an alternative to surgery and reduce the need for prescription medications when possible,” Flesch wrote in email to the Journal.
Grajeda and Flesch have been in the Cortez area for five years. Prior to opening up High Desert Physical Therapy, they worked in outpatient orthopedics.
The two specialize in the areas of vestibular rehab, concussion management, strength and conditioning, pelvic rehabilitation and women’s health and TMJ.
The clinic is at 111 N Park St., Suite B.
