The Cortez Farmers Market is hosting its annual spring vendor meeting on March 16, in advance of the market’s summer opening.
This will be the 46th year the market has been in operation, offering locals an opportunity to sell produce, meats, eggs and artisan crafts. It will officially begin on June 1.
At the vendor meeting, market officials will go over important dates, grants they have received and the 2019 budget, along with rules and regulations for this summer and changes voted upon by vendors last year.
Organizers will also announce the dates and deadlines for vendor applications at the meeting.
The meeting will start at 10 a.m. at the Montezuma County Annex Building, 107 N. Chestnut St.
