For many years people have been gathering under the roof of the Dolores Community Center to celebrate. They have celebrated weddings, birthdays, anniversaries and countless other events.
On April 13 it will be time to celebrate the Community Center itself.
There will be a barbecue pig roast and bance in honor of the Community Center and to raise money for this hub of the community. The dinner will be at 6 p.m. and the dance will start at 7 p.m. with music by the Vanishing Breed.
Dinner will be prepared by the Clampers and it will consist of roasted pork, scalloped potatoes, beans, slaw and dessert and drink.
Proceeds will benefit the Dolores Community Center and the Clampers. Tickets cost $20 for the dinner and dance and only $10 for the dance.
