Collaboration Festival brings together beer makers from across Colorado

Ska and Steamworks team up with breweries to make unique beers
Andrew Colley, head brewer with Swedish craft brewery Nynäshamns Ångbryggeri, and Joe Hull, head mod-brewer with Ska Brewing Co., work on a collaboration beer at Ska. For this year’s Collaboration Festival, the breweries have created a rauch doppelbock – a strong, dark and smokey beer.
Alan Simons, left, managing brewer at Dry Dock Brewing in Aurora, and Ken Martin, Steamworks Brewing Co.’s head brewer, talk in 2018 at Steamworks about the collaboration beer “Nice Pear,” a sake yeast malt based beer with pear juice for the Collaboration Beer Fest in Denver.
