Mount Lookout Grange is named Project of the Year

Mancos Valley Resources honors 100-year-old center
The Project of the Year potluck was attended by representatives of the organizations supported by Mancos Valley Resources.
The MVR board recognized the Mount Lookout Grange as its official project during the organization’s annual meeting and potluck Tuesday night.
The Mount Lookout Grange was selected as the 2018 Project of the Year by Mancos Valley Resources.
The Mount Lookout Grange was founded in 1917 by a group of 27 men and women, and it is part of the National Grange, an agricultural advocacy group over 150 years old.
Mancos Valley Resources board member Tim Hunter emceed the Tuesday night recognition ceremony, held at the Mount Lookout Grange itself.
