My thanks to all of you who came to The Valley Inn Nursing Home on Sunday, January 27th to celebrate my 98th birthday. It was so wonderful — so many of you with smiles and hugs — and so many cards! We’re still counting.
Holly, Kelly and Arthur went overboard with invitations, setup, food and drinks. Then there was Dave from the Absolute Bakery with a huge birthday cake. I understand we shared it with several grandchildren.
What a wonderful 98th. I can’t wait till the next years, my 99th and 100th! Thanks to all of you, especially the staff at The Valley Inn, who made it all possible.
