8:53 a.m.: A man was cited for trespassing at City Market, 508 E. Main St.
10:38 a.m.: A man was cited for trespassing at City Market, 508 E. Main St. He was intoxicated and sleeping in the bathroom. He received a warning the day before.
2:35 p.m.: Two women were arrested on warrants at Walgreens, 1671 E. Main St.
2:05 p.m.: A woman reported a possible hit-and-run at the Methodist Thrift Store, 444 E. Main St. The driver’s side mirror was broken, and the vehicle was scratched.
7:09 p.m.: A woman was arrested on a warrant at Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.
7:59 p.m.: A man was arrested on a Dolores County warrant on the 900 block of S. Broadway.
Thursday, Jan. 31
6:52 p.m.: A man was arrested for trespassing at the Cortez Public Library, 202 N. Park St. He was intoxicated and had to be medically cleared before taken to Montezuma County Detention Center, 730 E. Driscoll St.
Friday, Feb. 1
4:33 a.m.: A man was arrested outside Family Dollar, at 324 S. Broadway, on a La Plata County warrant for failure to appear.
5:39 p.m.: An intoxicated man was arrested for disturbing the peace outside Burger King, 332 W. Main St. He had been yelling at people inside the restaurant and was yelling profanity as he was arrested.
Saturday, Feb. 2
2:30 a.m.: A man was arrested for DUI on the 700 block of N. Elm St. He was driving with his headlights off. When an officer pulled him over, he quickly exited the vehicle and walked to the front of the vehicle. His vehicle then rolled back and collided with the front bumper of a Cortez police patrol vehicle.
Monday, Feb. 4
7:37 p.m.: A man was arrested for trespassing at Walmart, 1835 E. Main St. He was intoxicated and had to be medically cleared before taken to Montezuma County Detention Center, at 730 E. Driscoll St.
Tuesday, Feb. 5
4:27 p.m.: A male employee at Big O Tires, at 1856 E. Main St., was arrested on a Montezuma County warrant.
