The white man needs to remember that the U.S. Constitution is written on paper; white man’s laws are written on paper. But the American Indian title and laws to the land are written on stone, not paper. Paper has no power in the real world.
Long before the white man came and made America dirty and poorer, our laws ran along the backbone of the world, from the Arctic Circle, down the Rocky Mountains, through Panama to the tip of South America.
If he does not respect our home like the Arctic Circle, Bears Ears and other sacred sites, Mother Earth can create fire, floods, earthquakes, illness and new diseases. She will show him real power.
You can’t drink oil. You can’t make a knife or start a fire with gold, a worthless rock. You can’t eat money. It’s just paper.
If the white man does not change his ways, he will be the death of all of us.
