The Home Builders Association of Southwest Colorado is now accepting applications for its 2019 Building for the Future Scholarships.

Up to $10,000 will be awarded to support area high school seniors pursuing post-secondary education in any aspect of the construction industry.

Deadline for submission is 5 p.m. March 1.

Scholarships will be awarded at the HBASC dinner meeting on April 16.

Applications are available through counselors at Mancos, Durango, Animas, Bayfield, Ignacio and Pagosa Springs high schools and through the HBASC office.
