In response to the article “Woman’s lawsuit accuses funeral home of illegally harvesting mother’s body parts” (Jan. 7), I would like to express my abhorrence with the alleged actions of the Four Corners Cremation and Burial Society that was stated to have operated out of Cortez, but shown to reside in Montrose on the Secretary of State’s website.
This is an inexcusable act and is intolerable in the funeral industry.
Please know that this company is in no way related to or associated with Four Corners Funeral Chapel or Ertel Funeral Home, both located in Cortez. My staff and I believe in honesty and integrity, and strive to provide the best quality and compassionate service to the families we care for.
We have been in business for almost 100 years here in Cortez, and will continue to bring the thoughtful and understanding support this community has come to trust, well into the future.
