Shame on you for your support of funding for a border wall.
You should be well aware of the poverty that exists in your congressional district and the difficult access to affordable health care that many of your constituents experience.
These are areas on which money for a border wall could be much better spent, and which would have a much greater and lasting impact on those whom you were elected to represent.
You must in your heart realize that President Trump’s idea for a border wall is strictly political foolishness that does not appropriately address the problems that our country faces in regard to immigration policy.
Can you summon the courage to work toward meaningful solutions to that, even if it means going against Trump’s ideas?
You have a duty to do so; please demonstrate that you have the will.
