Community members interested in actively participating in this year's Cortez Community Garden are invited to attend a meeting on Saturday, Feb. 23 at 5 p.m. at the Cortez Journal meeting room, 123 Roger Smith Ave. There will be discussion of the garden's concept, the future of the garden, fundraising, and sharing of ideas. This will also be the 1st year anniversary for the Community Garden. Those that want to participate in the 2013 garden season are invited to come learn more, and to celebrate.
