The League of Women Voters of Montezuma County will meet Jan. 12 at 10 a.m. at the Dolores Public Library. The program concerns the dangers involved in the overuse of antibiotics and what is being done to correct the situation in our local hospital and area nursing homes.
The speaker is Marc Meyer from the Southwest Memorial Hospital in Cortez who is a nationally recognized expert in the field of antibiotic resistance.
League meetings are free and open to the public.
