On Dec. 12, the Green Business Roundtable will offer an array of practical opportunities for cities, businesses, organizations and residents to contribute to mitigating and adapting to climate change.
Daniel Kreeger, co-founder and executive director of the Association of Climate Change Officers will present the discussion from noon to 1 p.m. at Henry Strater Theater, 699 Main Ave., in Durango.
He has experience partnering and collaborating with federal agencies, environmental nonprofits, academic institutions and multinational corporations and has published numerous papers and spoken at dozens of industry events on operational and workforce issues related to climate change, environmental sustainability and national security.
The San Juan Citizens Alliance hosts Green Business Roundtable with the help of dedicated volunteers. Cost is $17 when you register or RSVP by 5 p.m. Nov. 8 at sanjuancitizens.org/gbr. Cost is $22 for late RSVPs and a limited number of walk-ins.
