AARP and Montezuma County Senior Services will sponsor the AARP Smart Driver Course in Cortez.
Participants in the refresher course will learn the current rules of the road, defensive driving techniques and how to operate a vehicle , according to a press release from course instructor Barry Lausman.
Upon completion, participants may be eligible for a discount on auto insurance, Lausman said.
The next class will be Nov. 2 from 1 to 5 p.m.
