A 63-year-old woman was found deceased in her car at Chicken Creek on Dec. 26 by a man who had gone there to cross-country ski. He called into the Montezuma County sheriff's office to report her death.
According to the county coroner, Charlie Rosenbaugh, the woman had committed suicide and her death happened on the afternoon of Dec. 25.
She was from the Montezuma County area.
