Signs on that Oregon mall said that weapons were not allowed on the premises. The police did not stop the shooter as reported. Who stopped the shooting was Nick Meli, a 22-year-old with a concealed weapon, which he had a permit to carry. Anti-gun folks can Google it. These stories never get reported.

Editor's note: The Clackamas Town Center shooter took his own life at the scene. Nick Meli did not shoot because, he said, he was afraid of hitting a bystander. He took cover in a nearby store.
