Repairs force drainage of Groundhog Reservoir; no bag limit on fish

Groundhog Reservoir is being drained past the minimum pool level in order to make dam repairs. So the fish don’t go to waste, Colorado Parks and Wildlife has lifted the bag limit until April 20, 2019.
Boat owners scrambled to get their Pontoon boats off Groundhog Reservoir after water managers decided to drain the lake so some repairs could be made.
A team effort was needed to haul out boats from lowering water levels at Groundhog Reservoir this week.
