Charles Fredrick Brenner passed away Nov. 29, 2012 at Palo Verde Valley Hospital in Blythe, Calif. He was born Dec. 7, 1931 in Stilwell, KS to Fred and Marguerite (Roman) Brenner. He attended school in Stilwell and graduated high school from Santa Ana, Calif. He was a navy veteran of the Korean War, serving as chief petty officer aboard the USS Boxer. He married Virginia Lou Johnson, in 1958 in Kansas City, MO, who preceded him in death.
He lived in Dolores from 1983 to 1995 and spent the past two summers in Dolores.
He is survived by his daughters Cynthia Brenner of Albuquerque, NM and Cathleen Brenner of Kansas City, MO; sister Jean Groen of Apache Junction, AZ; two nephews and two nieces and many loving friends and relatives throughout the United States.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11 at the McGilley & Frye Funeral Home in Olathe, KS. Burial in Aubry Cemetery, Stilwell, KS. Visitation will be 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday morning prior to the service at the funeral home.
