The Cortez Farmers Market will celebrate National Farmers Market Day on Aug. 11 with a game of farmers market bingo and a musical performance by the Aloha Club.
To play bingo, go to the market’s Friends Booth between 7:30 and 10 a.m., pick up a bingo card and become eligible for a “Farmers Telephone drawing for Market Bucks,” a press release said.
There also will be a Cooking Matters tour at the Friends Booth from 9-10 a.m.
Music entertainers will be the Aloha Club, and a hula performance is planned.
“Dress in your finest Hawaiian garb and be sure to stop by the market this Saturday,” the press release said.
