The Pinnacol Foundation recently announced it awarded $451,230 in scholarship funds to 97 Colorado students for the 2018-2019 school year. The foundation provides scholarships each year to students with parents who have been injured or killed in work-related accidents. All insurance carrier are accepted.
Andrea Bonilla received this year’s Pinnacol Foundation scholarship, after her mother was injured in two separate work-related accidents. Andrea is pursuing a triple major in psychology, criminology and communications at University of Denver, and was selected by the Federal Investigation Bureau for its honors internship program. She hopes to start a career in the agency after graduation.
Scholarships funding is provided by Pinnacol Assurance, corporate sponsors and individual donors.
